Aubisque departs Cucumber Beach Marina, Belize City and sets sail for Blue Field Range. Guests who sail or want to learn how to sail will enjoy taking turns at the helm with Captain Cliff's guidance. Sailing a 47 foot catamaran is an exhilarating experience.
The fishermen in the group will enjoy trolling along the way to help catch dinner (mackerel, tuna, cobia are often caught inside the reef). Also guests will enjoy bow watching for dolphins and sunning on the trampolines underway while being served refreshing tropical drinks or cocktails from the bar.
The anchorage at Blue Field Range is a protected lagoon that offers a diversity of water activities. For those who like to snorkel there are large coral heads to explore along with the rare opportunity to snorkel with the manatees. Kayakers will enjoy exploring the lush mangroves where they will find manatees, dolphins, starfish, and a variety of other wildlife.
If you like flats fishing for bone fish, tarpon, snapper or permit, you will be in fish heaven! Blue Field Range is well known internationally for its flats fishing. Also this is a great place for lobster and conch hunting. Just in case we did not get lucky with our trolling, there always are the local fishermen that stop by to sell the catch of the day, conch or lobster.

The next day we sail to Rendezvous Caye. This uninhabited island sits right on the barrier reef and is one of Belize's pristine gems. Enjoy a day of sensational snorkeling, kayaking and or beach combing. You may opt to have a gourmet picnic lunch on the beach under the palm trees. The reef north of Rendezvous offers fantastic diving! The water colors are magnificent. On sunny days you can have visibility of 80 feet when diving the coral walls.
In the afternoon, Aubisque sets sail back to Blue Field Range to anchor for the night. At sunset enjoy cocktails on the bow, while your chef prepares lobster on the barbeque for a culinary delight!
In the morning Aubisque sets sail to Goffs Caye, an uninhabited island on the reef for a day of snorkeling, swimming, kayaking or just relaxation. This is one of our favorite islands because it looks like a tropical island you would find in a post card or on the Travel Channel. The island is less than a mile long!

In the afternoon enjoy a leisurely sail to the Drowned Cayes, where we will anchor for the night in a secluded lagoon. This is a great place for late afternoon kayaking to explore a sunken barge full of marine wildlife along with dolphins, manatees and incredible variety of birds. If you like sunsets, then the view from the aft of the yacht is spectacular! Enjoy an evening of fine Caribbean dining under the stars.
In the morning we sail north to St George's Caye, a private island that is known as a little slice of paradise. Enjoy a day of relaxation on your yacht; read your favorite book; nap under the shaded awnings; sun on the trampolines or in the water on float toys; go wind gliding in the lagoon or explore this charming island by kayak and visit the small restaurant/bar for a sample of the local rum.
The reef awaits those who want to snorkel, dive or fish. Gallows Reef is one of our favorite dive and snorkel spots. We can arrange rendezvous diving with a top dive master that will take you to the "Best of Belize" dive sites that are not part of the tourist dive circuit. This is truly a unique experience.
The fishing is excellent along the reef and the flats surrounding the island. For the serious fishermen, we can arrange rendezvous fishing for reef and blue water fishing with the top Belizean guides that will take you to the "hot sites".
The sailors in the group will enjoy time on the helm as we continue to sail north to Caye Caulker. This is a charming island where you will enjoy exploring the island shops, walking along the beach, meeting the locals and sample the local cuisine. The lagoon provides a great place for wind gliding. Also, guests enjoy exploring the island and its beaches by kayaks.
The next day, one of the local guide boats will rendezvous with Aubisque where our guests are treated to a unique snorkel eco tour. Our guest reviews of the snorkeling eco tour has been 5 stars! Guests have the opportunity to feed the rays, pet the nurse sharks, discover sea horses and visit the beautiful coral gardens. An underwater camera is a must for this trip! Also rendezvous diving and fishing is available.
In the afternoon we set sail to the town of San Pedro on Ambergris Caye. This is a charming Caribbean town where you will enjoy walking on the beaches, exploring shops and local art galleries. Also there are several island spas that offer first class service.
Weather permitting the anchorage in San Pedro provides a breath taking view of the reef. For those who enjoy nightlife, you will find palapa bars and excellent restaurants along the beach. In the evening enjoy dancing to Caribbean music under the stars, or even a visit to the local casino.
In the morning we set sail to Hol Chan Marine Reserve. The mooring on the reef is spectacular. Snorkeling at Hol Chan Marine Reserve is like swimming in an aquarium. It is once in a lifetime experience. Our guests come from all around the world and say that this is one of the best snorkeling sites that they have ever seen. We often get requests to spend 2 days visiting the reserve.
Rendezvous diving and fishing can be arranged. The diving is spectacular along the outer reef at Hol Chan. Also we can arrange for diving at the Blue Hole. In the afternoon we sail back to Caye Caulker for night anchorage.
Enjoy breakfast under sail as we make our way back to Belize City for a late morning departure. This is a wonderful time of the morning for dolphin watching and trolling for fish.
