The Jeanneau 44 DS is a perfect yacht for chartering in the BVI. The yacht has outstanding performance with a powerful sail plan ideally set up for blue water cruising, and yet is easy to control and sail short-handed as required. All sail control lines lead back to the cockpit and the winches are located close to the helms. Performance is not sacrificed for comfort however: a large transom step and swim ladder allows comfortable access to the water, twin wheels keeps the cockpit clear and a very large cockpit table with lifting leaves means very comfortable outside dining for 6 or more. The interior of the boat is extremely spacious due to a 14ft+ beam. There is plenty of light and ventilation throughout the accommodation area.
