A very modern design from Dufour, the 405GL was awarded the prestigious European Yacht of the Year in 2010 at the Dusseldorf boat show and was very well regarded by Cruising World in their October 2011 Review. The design by Umberto Felci and Patrick Roseo maximises both waterline length and interior volume. The hand laid GRP hull incorporates NGP gelcoat and resins for superior osmosis protection and the interior structural gird is fully laminated to the hull skin for strength and rigidity.This 3 cabin 2 head layout has a generous master suite forward with a walk around queen size double berth. With a fully battened mainsail for superior upwind performance, the full draft keel, and a folding prop, this 405GL is a delight to sail.
