Day 1: Arrival in Panama City
Followed by your arrival at Panama City, our driver will pick you up at the Tocumen International Airport (PTY) and drop you off at the Casa Panama Hotel, a historic building and heritage of the earliest years of The Republic of Panama. Enjoy the rooftop bar and pool as much as you want. Walk around the popular streets of Casco Viejo, its museums, restaurants, touristic plazas, bars, theaters and galleries.
Day 2: Kuanidup Island & Chichime
Early in the morning, our driver will pick you up and take you to the hangar area to board your private plane to fly to San Blas. After a 45 minutes flight you will land at Corazon de Jesus, the longest airstrip of the western San Blas. You'll be welcomed by our crew with a delicious drink or cold beer before starting the trip to the most isolated white-sand islands surrounded by corals and starfish.
Days 3 - 8: Cayos Coco Bandero & Cayos Holandeses, San Blas
Coco Bandero is a set of tiny idyllic islands located at the northwest of Isla Verde. Protected by a 4 miles outer coral reef barrier, Coco Bandero is one of the most comfortable anchorages in San Blas. Cayos Holandes is a group of 21 uninhabited islands located at the north part of the archipelago. This group of islands is protected by a 7 miles coral reef barrier. Since this chain of islands is far from mainland the waters are transparent nearly year round.
Day 9: Isla Grande, Colon Province
8 hour sail from San Blas. Isla Grande is a popular island for tourists, its main beach has some small hotels and huts. Populated mainly by afro-caribbean-descendants, Isla Grande has a few dozens of restaurants where the main dishes are based on seafood and afro-caribbean-food (out of board meals are not included).
Day 10: Isla Linton, Colon Province
Followed by a visit to the local church where the famous sculpture of the Nazarene or Black Christ is found. The tour continues to The Agua Clara Visitor Center. After a long, but exciting day we'll drop you off at the railroad station (except during weekends or holidays). The railroad follows the east margin of The Panama Canal, has impressive views of the rainforest, mangroves, and of course The Canal. Arriving exactly at 6:15pm in Panama City where our driver will meet you at the station for a short ride to your hotel.
Day 11: Panama City Tour
Pick up at the Hotel and ride to the most attractive and interesting sites of the Capital City, the Colonial City or "Casco Viejo", built in 1673, with special Spanish architecture, and where French workers, led by Ferdinand de Lesseps to initiate the project of the Panama Canal, had their homes. You will pass through the stretched streets, plazas and public parks, where part of Panama's history is still preserved, along with France Plaza, Promenade of "Las Bovedas", San Jose Church with its wonderful Gold Altar, the "Arco Chato", and the Cathedral Church, forming part of the World Heritage. You will head to the Visitors Center of the Miraflores Locks in the Panama Canal, where vessels are raised or lowered from ocean to lake level and vice-versa.
Day 12: Departure
The trip ends after we drop you off at the Tocumen International Airport for your flight back home.
