Day 1– Lefkas

Your Greek bareboat charter holiday begins at our base in Lefkas marina. Get to know the yacht that will be your constant companion as you sail the sparkling Ionian Sea, and take the time to provision your boat with everything you need for a weeklong adventure. Make the most of your time in Lefkas and explore this traditional village of bright terracotta roofs and whitewashed stone.

Day 2– Lefkas to Prevesa

Sail north from Lefkas’ marina through the narrow channel that separates the island from mainland Greece. Pass beneath the road bridge that connects Lefkas with the mainland and head out into the Ionian Sea. You’re sailing to Prevesa, a picturesque Grecian town set on a peninsula reaching into the Ambracian Gulf. Prevesa is a historical and cultural hotspot filled with palaces, castles and museums, while the gulf offers excellent swimming and sunbathing.

Day 3– Prevesa to Parga

Let the gentle winds of the Ionian Sea carry you north along the coast to idyllic Parga. With the islands of Paxos and Antipaxos to your port side and the many beaches of Greece’s western shores to your starboard, the day’s sailing is especially picturesque. At Parga you’ll find a flawless Ionian jewel, with a quiet harbour surrounded by traditional Mediterranean homes and framed by fragrant pine-clad mountains. Lounge on one of Pargas’ many beaches or explore the town, where the slow pace of everyday life gives way to a lively world of busy tavernas each evening.

Day 4– Parga to Sivota Mourtos

Follow the gentle curve of Greece’s craggy, mountainous coastline northwest from Parga. Watch the Sivota Islands grow larger in the distance as the Ionian slips away beneath your keel. These scenic islets are crowned with lush vegetation, providing sheltered and picturesque anchorage for visiting yachts. Drop anchor to swim and snorkel the islands’ glassy blue waters, or moor in the town marina to explore the warren of streets beyond.

Day 5– Sivota Mourtos to Lakka, Paxos

Enjoy an exciting 12-mile stretch of blue water sailing as you cruise from the Sivota Islands to distant Paxos. Paxos is an island known for its beautiful beaches and fine wine, making it a true island paradise. You’re calling at the sparkling port of Lakka on Paxos’ north coast. Here you’ll discover a turquoise harbour capped by a picturesque town of pastel-hued Mediterranean homes. Linger here to soak up the timeless island atmosphere over a seafood meal and a glass of ouzo in a local taverna.

Day 6– Lakka to Giaos, Paxos

Explore Mustique in the morning. After lunch, head to Mayreau and anchor at Salt Whistle Bay, a calming beach with swaying coconut trees.

Day 7– Gaios to Lefkas

The final day of your Lefkas bareboat adventure is all about sailing. From Paxos it’s a seven-hour shot of exciting blue water sailing as you make your way across the Ionian to distant Lefkas. Enjoy the sensation of open water cruising in the calm, gentle conditions of this Grecian paradise.
