The currency is the Euro, but U.S. dollars are also accepted in both sides of the island. Visa and MasterCard are accepted in the main tourist areas but not in rural locations.

A passport valid for three months after your return date is included in the documentation you need to sail to St. Martin, and you need a return or onward flight ticket.
