Taxis in Palma include Taxi Palma Radio (+34 971 40 00 04) and Radio Taxi Ciutat (+34 971 20 12 12) . Book ahead for a taxi, especially in high season, and remember that children under 12 will need car seats.
During daylight, a sailing permit or licence (título de recreo) is not needed to sail the following vessels:
Motor boats up to 5 meters in length and with a maximum power of 10 Kw (13 CV)
Sailing boats up to 5 metres in length

Anchoring in sand is allowed, as elsewhere in the Mediterranean, but anchoring in marine algae and seagrass (Posidonia) is forbidden. When they're open, you must use mooring buoys.
If not, please monitor the seabed around your boat. It takes several years to replenish a bed of sea grass and only a few seconds to dive into warm water with a mask.
