The currency is the Euro. Visa, MasterCard and American Express are widely accepted. ATMs are easily found and banks are open Monday to Friday (8:00am to 8:00pm) and Saturday (8:00am to 3:00pm).

The Bura wind is cold, dusty, and raging from the northeast and is prevalent between November and March. The Jugo to the south-east is mild and blows from the sea to the coast.
On the coast and colder in the mountains, temperatures in Montenegro are Mediterranean. A hot, dry climate of around 27oC/80oF is present during the peak summer season.
