In the blissful waters of the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Indian Ocean, South Pacific or Asia. Whether a Bareboat Rental, Crewed Catamaran or Sailboat, Luxury Yacht, we offer unique and tailor made yachting vacation packages, yacht and boat rentals, in the most pristine destinations worldwide.
Bareboat, meaning without crew, is for those groups who have a certified skipper amongst the group, looking to set sail and explore the islands at their leisure. A skipper's resume will be required to assure skipper has the proper qualifications, as well as a brief pre-board briefing & examination at most bases to assure the skippers qualifications. Please remember that hiring a licensed skipper, captain, certified sailing instructor, hostess/cook, as well as dive masters in some destinations, are options available upon request. Kindly ask your travel consultant for details.
The skipper of a yacht is solely responsible at all times for the safety of the crew and the yacht. Most destinations need only the required experience shown by a sailing resume.
For charters in the Mediterranean, it is mandatory that you possess a sailing license recognized in Italy, Greece, Croatia, Spain, and Turkey. Other destinations that require a license include Seychelles, Thailand, and Brazil. For Belize, the port authority will issue a certificate of competency and an application is made on arrival.
You must take with you on your charter your evidence of competence and original certificate. Until booking, we advise you to contact our team about your credentials and the destination criteria.
You confirm by accepting the yacht contract that you and/or your crew members are willing and competent to sail the yacht under the charter conditions and cruising area. We reserve the right not to hand over the yacht if the charterer is of the opinion, after inspection, that it is not or may not be competent to be responsible for the vessel.

You can choose one of the following options:
1 Security Deposit: This varies on the size of the boat and when the boat is returned without damage it is refunded.

How much should we tip our crew?
Gratuity should be determined by the standard of service. We propose an average of 15-20 percent of the overall charter cost for crewed yacht charters as a guideline, and 15-20 percent of the regular skipper fee for skippered bareboat sailing or power yacht charters.
The keynote is simplicity. Casual and breezy beach attire is certainly the order of the day on deck, though for evenings ashore, slacks or a sundress are appropriate. Rubber-soled shoes, as opposed to hard soles, are recommended aboard our yachts, so wear boat shoes or tennis shoes. You may find aquatic shoes convenient for beachcombing. Above all, protection from the sun is vital – lots of suntan lotion, wide-brimmed hats or sailing caps, and loose-fitting cotton cover-ups. For cool or windy evenings, a windbreaker comes in handy.
All destinations require a passport for entry unless of course you are a US citizen traveling within the US. For detailed entry requirements, call your Vacation Planning Specialist.
In every destination, you will find all of the information that you need to know when planning your trip to your booked destination. Or call one of our Vacation Planners who can help with your travel arrangements!
Yes, you can expect to pay nightly mooring or docking fees based on your destination. Docking fees in the Caribbean range about $3-4 a foot, but in the Mediterranean they can be much higher. Also, moorings can vary greatly. In the Caribbean, they typically average around $35 a night, but depending on the venue, they may get upwards of $60.
This depends on the provider of your mobile phone and your destination. You can rent a phone, that can be used with a pre-paid calling card for anything you may need during your charter, with preprogrammed phone numbers. Or prior to your travel, you can make arrangements with your cellular provider to enable an international calling plan that will allow you to use your phone without roaming fees in international waters. If you venture too far, though, you subsequently venture out of range of cell towers. For continuous ship to shore contact, all of our yachts have a VHF (ship-to-shore) radio onboard.
All yachts are equipped with a VHF (ship-to-shore) radio so the base marina can reach you at any time during your charter. Make sure to leave all base contact information with someone at home so that they can easily reach you through our base marina in the event of an emergency.
