No, you only need experience on similar boats you'd like to charter. If you don't have much experience, we are happy to assign a skipper for a day or as long as you think you need to get you up to speed.

During the winter, the conditions in Antigua are stable with trade winds blowing from the east or north-east up to 18 to 20 knots. Northerly ground swells can be there sometimes in some anchorages – talk to the base before you set off. During the summer, winds blow from the east to south-east between 10 and 25 knots.
During the winter, between December and May, temperatures in Antigua can reach 86ºF with cooler nights around 68ºF and a water temperature of 78ºF. During the summer, between June and November, the weather is warmer and less stable with temperatures around 89ºF and a water temperature of 82ºF.
